What kind of pill is this?

From a student:

"Hey guys! I found a pill on the floor last night and I was wondering what it is. It is round and says LSP 10 on one side. Do you know what it is?"

The pill you found is known as Lisinopril, 10 mg. This medication is typically prescribed for people with high blood pressure. It works by what's called vasodilation (it makes the patient's blood vessels wider, which causes the patient's blood pressure to go down, closer to a healthy range.) This drug would not create a "high" for a user, it would only cause an unsafe drop in blood pressure, which could kill someone if it gets too low. Hope that helps!
